craft hall

How do we ensure that up-and-coming entrepreneurs also find their way to the city center? The Corona crisis has made it even more difficult for new entrepreneurs to establish themselves in the inner city. What if we make a 'nursery room' for them where they can quietly prepare for the step to the center?

Ivo Meijerink experienced it himself: it is difficult as a small entrepreneur to keep your pants up at a location in the city center. That is why he came up with the idea to create a 'craft hall' together with other small(er) and starting entrepreneurs. An environment where you can learn the tricks of the trade, add your craft, work together, and get 'fat on the bones' for a next step to the city center, as a catering or retail entrepreneur.

In the Saxion honors program 'Shaping Cities', this topic is central in 2021/2022, to ensure that the concept gets off the ground together with students. However, you can also participate. Fancy? Click!
